Julia Ibara is a New Jersey Licensed Associate Counselor. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from The College of New Jersey. Julia has had extensive experience working in hospital settings prior to coming into private practice. Clinically, Ms. Ibara completed her clinical training working with children, adolescents, and adults both in intensive outpatient programs and outpatient private practice.
Throughout Julia's career she has been able to see where needs are not fully being met and develops programs and interventions to assist in meeting these needs. As an intern in the intensive outpatient program, Julia started a new support group to meet the needs of LGBTQIA+ people in treatment. Here at Center for Dynamic Growth, Julia continues to provide a safe environment for anyone who comes through her door and works tirelessly to find ways to address each clients unique needs.
Ms. Ibara has an integrative approach to treatment and believes everyone's needs are unique. Through collaboration and relationship building, her clients are able to make the changes they desire in their lives. Julia is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Play Therapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Neurofeedback, DBT, and CBT. She continues her training in these techniques, as well as Theraplay, Sandtray Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In her free time, Julia likes to spend time with family and friends, read, and spend time outdoors.
