Jennifer received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and is a New Jersey Licensed Social Worker. Jennifer’s clinical internship included working with K-2 student in a multiply disabled classroom and working at a partial hospitalization program on the women’s unit. Jennifer completed neurofeedback training at The Institute for Applied Neuroscience in Asheville, NC.
Jennifer uses therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neurofeedback, Psychodynamic Theories, Polyvagal Informed Theory, Attachment theory, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness. The goal is to help the person make connections between their past trauma and their current beliefs, emotions, and behaviors, and understand how the body experiences symptoms. The focus is on understanding how a person’s past can affect their present, and increasing the use of resources that can help the person unpack their past and live a more fulfilled life. Jennifer is also a certified telehealth provider.
